Instructions to cook frozen pancake:
Non-stick pan Vegetable, canola, or sesame oil Defrost pancake until soft ( leave in refrigerator 1 day before you cook or leave in room temperature for 2-3 hours )
- Put the pan on stove, turn the temperature up to medium
- Once the pan is warm (hold your hand over the pan), lightly coat the surface with oil (sesame preferred). Give the oil a minute or two to heat up.
- Place the pancake flat into the pan. Push and spread the dough out with your fingers similar to stretching a small pizza circle. Be careful not to touch the hot oil with your fingers. Slide the dough around the pan to ensure the bottom is coated in oil to minimize sticking. Alternative: If you don’t want to stretch the dough by hand in the pan, you could sprinkle some flour on the dough to roll it out with a rolling pin before placing it into the pan.
- Cook the pancake until it starts to turn brown on one side. Then sprinkle a little oil on top (the uncooked side) before flipping over. Cook until both sides are equally crispy and brown. Take out of the pan and transfer onto a plate.
- Beat 1 egg in a mixing bowl. Keep the pan warm enough to cook the egg. Pour the egg into the pan and immediately put the cooked pancake flat on top of the egg while it’s liquid, wait for 30-60 seconds until the egg is cooked. Slide the pancake out of the pan with the egg side up. Roll up the pancake.
- Cut and serve with our homemade dipping sauce
- Bonus: Recommend adding corn, tuna, veggie, bacon, or anything you prefer on top of egg before roll up the pancake.
